Music: Ta-ku remix of Ginger and the Ghost - One Type of Dark

Ballet Chicago asked me to help with a projected animated backdrop for their interpretation of ’Creatures of Prometheus.’ Working closely with their talented choreographer Ted Seymore, we developed looks that complemented the story but were careful to not to be too distracting. Faced with budget constraints and limited rehearsals, we had to cut some of the techniques we originally planned, but were able to use a combination of time lapsed footage and animation to achieve the desired looks. It was an equally challenging and rewarding experience, I hope to do more pieces like this in the future!

When my fiancé David went on tour with DJ Shadow as his A/V director, I was rewarded a rare and unique opportunity to create custom video content for his new song ‘Corridors’ to debut at Coachella. With only two weeks and a 7:19 runtime, as well as a challenging pixel map with a frontal transparent scrim (holograms!!), my dream to work on a DJ Shadow show was no easy feat. The dark and cinematic track guided the journey through tunnels and particle fields, with energy ranging from peaceful and calm to chaotic and confusing. I’ve been a huge DJ Shadow fan since I was 14, so this truly was an amazing experience. Highlight reel footage from the European tour shot by David Najarian.

I was asked to help create custom content for the massive production at the 2015 Pretty Lights Red Rocks shows. With the vision to immerse Derek in a visual story of his music, Pretty Lights and team brought out the most amount of LED panels ever seen in Red Rocks history, covering the floor, the wall behind him, and 11 moving towers of various heights. Working with the talents at RadioEditAV and Imaginex was such a blast...insane hours and constant rendering paid off!

The show bumper was one of many videos for the Frankfurt Major DOTA event's broadcast package I worked on late 2015. I animated a handful of the videos and project managed the package of 40+ deliverables.
